[Whenever there happen to be days, when they don't see each other, she at least sends Levi a message or something which include updates about her day and asking about his day and anything else. It's fun, she enjoys it, and she is doing that for all the reasons ever including to tell him that she's still here and still alive. And even when they've seen each other on any day, she might still send something later and of course she's always happy to hear from him too.
Petra could be awake that early for whatever reason to see that message as soon as she gets it, but she's ... Not. Not today. Her waking up time varies between a few hours here, even when she's used to waking up super early back home. But whenever she doesn't have to be awake so early in this world for whatever reason, she sleeps to whenever she happens to wake up. It's still usually morning by the time she wakes up and some people would call it early morning too, probably.
First thing she always does right after waking up is checking her device to see if there's anything new or anything, that she might have missed while she's been asleep...
The first line of that message makes her smile. Ohh. He remembers / knows. The next words make her very curious to know what it is... Not that he needed to get anything to her.]
Take your time huh...
[She smiles at that too and writes her reply before she even thinks about doing anything else including getting up.]
Thank you very much, Captain Levi.
Really? I'm really curious to see what it is, but sure, I'll take my time to get ready since I just woke up. So, I'll be there in about 20 to 30 minutes.
Petra
[Or something like that? How much time does it take from her to get ready here? Who knows, she hasn't checked, but at least she doesn't have to rush it like she does in military and it varies depending on where she is going... Anyway, at least it's not a long walk from her cottage to their cottage.]
[ Mostly, he doesn't want her to rush for his sake; she doesn't owe him any obedience here, because she is no longer his subordinate. Let her sleep in and rest, to figure out how she wants to spend her own time, for once. If any of that is with him, he's grateful.

See you soon.
[ When she arrives, he greets her at the door. It's warm and cozy inside, a fire crackling happily in the fireplace. A fluffy orange cat is curled up on a blanket nearby, happily snoozing. True to fashion, Levi has prepared some tea for the both of them, and there's a small selection of sweet and savory pastries arranged neatly on a plate. One of the cups is a dainty porcelain thing with a saucer - there's a second ready, too, but a third is a short earthenware mug, painted with a glaze moves from a light sky blue to a darker navy in a top to bottom gradient. Along the bottom near the handle, her name is lettered in a flowing, but not overly fancy, script.
(Luckily, he'd had it made before the natives cut off doing business with dreamers entirely).
There's also a small box tied neatly with a blue ribbon. ]
